Which GST calculator should I use?
- Your price does not include GST yet — use the GST Exclusive Calculator or the GST Calculator in “Add GST” mode.
- Your price already includes GST (MRP, final bill) — use the GST Inclusive Calculator to split it into taxable value and GST.
- You know the final amount and want the pre-tax price, or want to find which rate was charged — use the Reverse GST Calculator.
CGST, SGST and IGST in one line
When the supplier and the place of supply are in the same state, GST is split equally into CGST and SGST (or UTGST in Union Territories). When they are in different states, the full amount is charged as IGST. The total tax is the same either way — only who collects it changes.

Frequently asked questions
Are the GST rates on this site official?
No. BizToolsIndia is an independent website, not a government service. Rates are kept in a central configuration that we review periodically, and each GST page shows when it was last reviewed. Always confirm the rate for your specific goods or services (by HSN/SAC code) on the official CBIC or GST portal.
Can I use these calculators for old invoices at 12% or 28%?
Yes. The former 12% and 28% slabs remain selectable and are labelled as pre-22 September 2025 rates, and every calculator accepts a custom rate.
