We collect as little personal data as possible. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and your choices.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your browser. The amounts and other values you type into our calculators are not sent to or stored on our servers. If you use “Copy link” or share a result, the values you chose are included in the link you share.
Analytics
If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used, using cookies set by Google. We record events such as “a calculation was made” or “a result was shared”, together with the tool name — never the values you entered. Advertising-related storage is disabled by default. You can block analytics with your browser settings or an extension.
Contact and enquiry forms
When you submit a contact form, a business enquiry, or a request to list your business, we store the details you provide (such as name, phone number, email, city and message) together with the date and the page you used. We use them only to respond to you or, for an enquiry about a listed business, to pass your enquiry to that business. We do not sell your personal data.
To prevent abuse, we temporarily process your IP address for rate limiting. It is not stored with your enquiry.
Retention
Enquiry and contact records are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to access, correct or erase personal data you have given us, and withdraw consent for its future use. Email hello@biztoolsindia.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
